Beauty on demand. Sound familiar? The new concierge app, StyleBee, allows women and men to schedule cosmetic appointments on the go. Women can make blowout, makeup, and/or face painting appointments at the drop of a dime, similar to the impromptu car service, Uber. Don’t worry guys, StyleBee has you covered too.  Men can make shaving appointments, and both men and women can make convenient haircut appointments between the hours of 7:30am and the last appointment starting at 10:30pm. StyleBee assures clients affordable luxury and star treatment. As of now, the newly launched service is only available in the Los Angeles area.

StyleBee is available at Apple’s App store.

Moby on Strange and Beautiful LA Architecture

He lives — literally — in a castle in the sky. It is a sprawling structure, with a gatehouse turret, nestled under the Hollywood sign, high in the hills of Beachwood Canyon. It has a speakeasy in the basement, and the Rolling Stones once lived there.

It’s a new way of life for Moby, who spent decades in a one-bedroom apartment in the Lower East Side — with his recording studio in his bedroom and his bedroom in his closet. And yet, as it turns out, the musician is something of an architecture buff — captivated by the landscapes of urban geography. For the past year, Moby has been documenting the wild and beautiful ways of LA architecture on his blog, Moby Los Angeles Architecture. We asked him what makes LA architecture so baffling and unique.

Android Homme x Heineken Launch Exhibit

It’s not every day that Heineken gets together with Android Homme to create a special, limited-edition version of the iconic Propulsion 2.5 sneaker, curated by Team Epiphany, of course. Decked out in a tonal black pony hair and full-grain leather colorway, complemented by a Heineken-green lining and featuring subtle branding at the heel, these kicks are for influencers-only. In order to celebrate in style, however, Team Epiphany put together a series of art prints taken by the one and only Mel D. Cole featuring the shoes. The launch event doubled as an exhibition at Martha Otero Gallery in LA.
