Welcome to the light show! Just for a second, you’d think you’re walking down the strip in Vegas, but you’re actually experiencing the southern comfort of Miami.

The InterContinental Miami hotel received an electric upgrade, with over 5,000 LED lights installed by Chicago-based architect Thomas Roszak. “The hotel needed to make a big impression, as many of the buildings in the area were either new or recently renovated,” said Roszak.

At first glance, 1111 Lincoln Road looks like it’s only a large multi-story parking garage, but it’s actually a diverse space for restaurants, concerts, fashion shows, and bars. In addition to high ceilings and scenic city views, 1111 also hosts plenty of events to keep you entertained, including weddings, wine tastings, and yoga classes. Designed and conceived by Swiss architect firm Herzog & de Meuron, 1111 has become a local favorite and certainly a hotspot for tourists visiting Miami Beach.
