If you live in New York, you’ve seen images plastered around the city promoting the Yayoi Kusama exhibition at the Whitney Museum of American Art. Yayoi Kusama is an established Japanese artist most known for her use of polka dot and net patterns as well as her use of mixed mediums. This exhibition is organized in collaboration with Tate Modern, London and supported by Louis Vuitton as she recently did a collaboration with the luxury retailer. She joined forces with Louis Vuitton’s creative director Marc Jacobs to create a collection of dotted accessories and apparel.

The exhibition will be available for viewing until September 30, 2012. For more information on the Yayoi Kusama exhibit, visit the Whitney.
