Israeli designer Izhar Gafni was inspired to create a cardboard bike, once he heard of someone who built a cardboard canoe. Gafni created The Alfa, a 20lb bike made of cardboard and 100% recycled materials that supports riders up to 24 times its weight. He was told it was an impossible task, but set out to create a one-of-a-kind sustainable bike.
